Google is one of the first names that will pop into your head when you want to search for some things over the web and it does its best in order to comply with the needs of the users. There is a certain algorithm that is used by Google in order to rank the pages from all over the world and you have to comply with their demands if you want to succeed.
This algorithm is not revealed to the public since it contains the secrets used by this search engine in order to return the results every user is looking for, but there are a few ways you can use in order to achieve your goals. If you want to learn more about the product, you have to take the time to explore every other option you can turn to in the end.
Just a little over a week ago, Google obtained a patent needed for the rights to the intellectual property used in order o make the Panda update. This is not going to be kept a secret and everyone that wants to know more about it can take the time to read the patent. Apart from its content, you also need to check out the reactions that followed.
Tasks You Should do for a Small Website
The online community is much larger than you imagine and the forum at Webmaster World can bring them together in order to discuss all the things they have been through due to the update. Most people thought the Panda update was developed in order to target the quality of the content, but the patent you will read will prove this to be different.
One of the main reasons why this happens is due to the statements made by Amit Singhal and Matt Cutts, two of the prominent figures in the team the leads Google. Ever since the update was released, one of the main ideas you found about the Panda update was the one focusing on lowering the ranks of low-quality sites while boosting the better ones.
Even though it seemed like this was done through the quality of the content, once you will read the patent they have obtained you will know this is a little different. For a site to rank well based on the criteria they use, it needs high-quality links to support it and it has to be popular in a specific group based on where people focus their queries.
There are many things you have to learn about and there are many different points of view you have to look into if you want to learn why your site was hit by the Panda update and why it did not recover even if you have made quite a few changes to the on-site content. If you want to get all the answers you are looking for and if you want to be sure you will understand how Google works and try to keep up the pace, the forum named before is the best source.
