How To Outsource SEO The Right Way

You can think of outsourcing SEO as the process of hiring an external, specialized SEO provider that will handle all the necessary on-page, off-page and backend activities required in order to see improvements in your site’s SERP position.

When you outsource SEO, you no longer have to rely on the internal tools available to your team, or to juggle between internal business-related tasks and external optimization for search engine purposes. You delegate your venture’s online presence to external professionals like us, who have the tools and experience required to make a positive impact.

SEO Outsource

Is there a tangible benefit when you outsource SEO services? Yes, time and money. Most businesses nowadays are choosing SEO outsourcing because it is scalable, cost-effective and faster to deploy than traditional, internally-focused SEO frameworks.

Hiring new employees takes time, and it’s generally significantly more expensive than going for the services of external teams. But there are many ways to implement an outsourced SEO framework, and it’s essential to get it right. So, in this short guide, we will show how to do outsourcing SEO the right way, and we will showcase the elements you need to pay attention to in order to determine if your investment leads to trackable results.

What Is SEO Outsourcing?

Like previously said, outsource SEO can be looked at as the process in which you delegate an external SEO agency, like us, to handle all the required backend or front-facing tasks necessary to improve your site’s position in the SERPs. Why would you do this? Well, think of it this way. Your finances are limited, the available free time of your employees is already inexistent, and you most likely lack the financial resources required to pay the full-time salaries associated with internal search engine optimization specialists.

Outsourcing SEO Vs Keeping It In-House

In an ideal world in which resources are unlimited and the talent pool is straightforward, all companies, regardless of their size, would choose to work with internal SEO teams. But we don’t live in an ideal world, our finances are limited and the slower execution of the tasks carried out by in-house teams can sometimes be problematic. Outsourced white-hat SEO is the best possible way to improve your site’s online visibility without breaking the bank.

Factor	In-House	Outsourced	Hybrid
Cost	High fixed cost	Flexible monthly cost	Balanced cost
Expertise	Depends on hires	Access to specialists	Internal + external skills
Speed	Usually slower	Usually faster	Moderate to fast
Best fit	Large internal teams	SMEs and growth-stage firms	Teams needing support

In-House vs Outsourced vs Hybrid SEO

Ultimately, it’s all a matter of economies of scale. Outsource SEO services firms, like us, are characterized by lower costs and faster deployment time for the services being commercialized. We prioritize efficiency, we are up-to-date with the modifications happening in the SEO industry and we utilize advanced SEO tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush in order to deploy the modifications required to see improvements in your site’s metrics.

Why Businesses Choose to Outsource SEO?

Access To Expertise and Specialized SEO Experts

You are likely active in a city with a growing talent pool, and realistically speaking, you should have no issue in finding a worker who will tick all your boxes and be willing to align their knowledge with the values of your firm. There’s an issue, though. That person will not work for free, and their skills will cost you. A lot. SEO is a broad and complex field that includes both on-page modifications surrounding UI/UX and backend operations, hidden from the public but crucial for the crawling agents utilized by search engines.

SEO strategy

Do you want to ensure your site is properly optimized and has no glaring flaws that could be penalized by negative modifications in the SERPs? In that case, you will need to hire multiple specialists in search engine optimization services. As you can imagine, this will be costly. When you outsource your SEO, however, you immediately gain access to the skills of multiple workers. Who, combined, might require a lower financial commitment than hiring a new internal employee.

Better Use of Your Time

At the beginning of your venture’s operations, you likely decided to handle SEO and external marketing, in-house. It just makes sense, in the beginning, to concentrate on the other tasks essential for your venture’s productivity. But once your organization grows? You will need to allocate more and more time to your SEO framework. And this can be an issue.

Tasks like content production, aligning your site’s backend data with the CWVs, and deploying a good keyword strategy will all take time and resources to pull off. Do you want to do these tasks in-house? Well, you can, but you will distract yourself from the other tasks that require your direct input. You can also go for new, internal workers, but like we’ve already discussed, this will be a costly endeavor. So, your best bet is to outsource your SEO. And this is the route taken by the majority of modern SMEs.

It's All About the Costs

Imagine how frustrating it will be to hire a new internal SEO team, only for them to jump ship to one of your competitors at the first sign of a better financial offer. But this is the reality of the talent pool in 2026. Loyalty is a thing of the past, really, and the only thing that truly matters is profitability and efficiency.

Hiring internal SEO specialists will require a substantial financial investment, which, for SMEs, is not exactly worth it. Outsourcing provides access to the expertise of specialists at a fraction of the costs we would normally associate with internal SEO operations. So, it’s only natural for outsourcing SEO to continue growing. But you need to do it right.

When Should You Outsource Your SEO?

How to Outsource SEO

When Traffic Is Stagnant

In an ideal world, your firm’s SERP ranking should modify gradually, predictably, and align itself with the algorithm modifications happening in the digital field. If your site is not budging in online search results and if you haven’t seen growth in months, even though you tried different things, then maybe this is the sign that more specialization is needed.

If Your Rankings Are Slipping

Losing position for previously successfully targeted keywords is one of the main signs that something is wrong with your SEO strategy. This can mean a couple of things:

Your backend infrastructure doesn’t help with the indexation of your content,
The content present on your site is not E-E-A-T optimized
Your competitors catch up and manage to target keywords that previously were securely in your bag.

Technical Issues Start to Build Up

SEO is one of those rare digital marketing strategies that can result in positive outcomes even without actively pursuing new optimization techniques. But things will occasionally break and if not fixed, your SERP rankings will suffer.

A slow site, multiple crawl errors, manual actions taken against your pages, visible in GSC, or issues with following the CWVs, all these are signs that you need to hire a local SEO expert, specialized in website content writing services and in the development of an SEO strategy with a focus on backend modifications.

Situations In Which Outsourcing Your SEO Makes Sense

To be perfectly honest, in the context of the digital modifications happening in the SEO industry, right now, utilizing specialists for outsourcing your SEO makes sense in pretty much all scenarios. But let’s focus on two main situations.

SEO Dashboard

Are you starting a new business branch, and you don’t have the financial resources required to invest in a full-time internal team? In that case, hiring outsourced SEO services could free up your budget and make it more likely to invest in the R&D of your services/products. Likewise, SEO outsourcing is a choice to consider if you need to produce high-quality content at a volume and you don’t want the rest of your business tasks to be affected.

What SEO Services Can You Outsource Via a Local SEO Expert?

Category	Examples	Why Outsource
Strategy	Keyword research, roadmap	Needs tools and experience
Technical SEO	Crawl fixes, CWV, indexation	Specialist work
Content SEO	Briefs, updates, SEO writing	Saves internal time
Off-page SEO	Outreach, guest posts, links	Time-intensive externally
Local SEO	GBP, citations, local pages	Good for regional growth

SEO Services You Can Outsource

Strategy and SEO Research

Before you start seeing results in the SERPs, your digital marketing framework will need to start with a complete strategy in which you map your content deployment schedule and identify which of your competitors’ market research frameworks actually resulted in consistent SERP increases.

When you begin outsourcing SEO from our SEO agency, you gain the experience of specialists who will have no issue in conducting keyword research, analyzing your competition and developing a roadmap for the modifications required to see consistent gains in 1) profitability and 2) online visibility.

On-Page Modifications

The expertise of SEO service providers doesn’t stop at conducting research and investigating whether the strategies deployed by your business rivals have been successful. If you decide to utilize the SEO services provided by our specialized SEO agency, we will modify the on-page elements with a direct impact on the indexability of your content. Likewise, we will ensure that your content-creation blueprint gets in line with the E-A-A-T guidelines. So, we will offer content writing services with a strong emphasis on CTAs.

How will we start? Well, for one thing, our SEO outsourcing framework will begin with an optimization of your title tags and of your URL structure. We will develop meta-descriptions for all the blog articles present in your site’s “newsroom” section, improve your external and internal linking, deploy guest post services that will hopefully attract collaborations with SERP-relevant websites, and also optimize your media elements, so as to better fit the quality of your site’s content.

Backend Modifications

On-site SEO can make your site look good. But the meat and bones of an SEO strategy will be the necessary technical modifications required to make your site become visible to search engine crawlers. What is SEO outsourcing? It’s the process of delegating to an SEO agency the framework required to make your site better. And in order to do this, our local SEO specialists will need to modify the internal technical framework, invisible to your core audience, but crucial for the indexability of your services by crawling agents.

The process of outsourcing your SEO backend infrastructure will begin with an optimization of the LCP, CLS and INP elements of the Core Web Vitals. Our SEO agency will compress your assets and implement lazy loading for your media elements. Additionally, we will try to optimize the indexation of your pages by removing “noindex” when it is not necessary, we will check the implementation of your robots.txt files, and we will enable browser caching or utilize a CDN if necessary.

Off-Page and Authority-Building

Not all the steps required to see a direct improvement of your site’s SERP position can happen directly from the directory of your pages. Sometimes, a more indirect approach is needed. The process of outsourcing your SEO, outside of content and backend optimization, will also require the implementation of a hyperlink strategy that will hopefully attract collaborations with websites with a high authority score.

Our local SEO agency will handle the complex and time-consuming process of SEO outreach, we will develop a link acquisition strategy that follows the white-hat SEO guidelines published by Google, and we will develop an external blog-posting SEO strategy that would, ideally, attract new audiences interested in the services/products you commercialize.

Local SEO

Ideally, your venture will eventually grow to a level at which it can attract international clients and compete with national players with profitability margins far exceeding your current ones. But at first, the process of SEO outsourcing needs to start with a focus on local SEO. In order to improve your site’s visibility for regional targets, our local SEO specialists will optimize your GBP, ensure you take advantage of local citations, improve your NAP, and also deploy location-based keywords in the implemented content creation blueprint.

When we think of outsourcing SEO, we mainly think of on-page and backend modifications. But realistically, at least at first, the main focus of successful SEO services should be on local visibility. Outsourcing your SEO strategy to our company should hopefully result in increased SERP visibility for domestic and international clients alike. But, realistically, at first our priority will be to make your offers visible to regional clients.

How To Choose the Right Agency for Outsourcing Your SEO?

What to Look for In SEO Outsourcing Firms

First of all, you should consider hiring a provider of SEO services that has experience in working with both SMEs and large-scale corporations active in competitive industries. Our team, for example, can work with you if you are at the start of your corporate journey and you’re looking for a fully-managed SEO outsourcing strategy, as well as if you are a large-scale corporation and you’re in need of SEO for eCommerce businesses.

GAMIT agency

When you consider outsourcing SEO, you need to look at the experience of the firm you contemplate collaborating with, and you need to evaluate their approach to achieving the results required by your market position. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach when it comes to outsourcing SEO. High-quality SEO services must be tailored to the specifics of your company, and, therefore, it’s important to go for a company, such as ours, that is characterized by flexibility and transparency in the utilized SEO outsourcing strategies.

Criteria	Agency	Freelancer	Consultant
Scope	Full execution	Selected tasks	Strategy-focused
Capacity	High	Limited	Moderate
Best for	Ongoing SEO growth	Small projects	Audits and direction
Main strength	Systems and depth	Flexibility	Prioritization

Agency vs Freelancer vs Consultant

Questions To Ask Before Hiring SEO Service Providers

What Do You Actually Do Each Month?

You should look to collaborate with a company that provides clear deliverables, and not just vague promises for optimization improvements. What does this even mean? Our company, for example, can present you with a clear framework for the audits, back-end fixes and content delivery services we provide. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible. This is not liberal arts. SEO, at the end of the day, is all about tangible results and quantifiable metrics.

How Do You Build the SEO Strategy?

Never collaborate with SEO services agencies that are secretive about the strategies they are planning to implement on your website. You are paying for a service, so you are entitled to know the ins and outs of the framework implemented on your pages.

How Do You Measure Success?

The firm you are collaborating with should present a list of clear KPIs that will be utilized to determine the success of the implemented SEO services. SEO outsourcing is only worthwhile if it leads to measurable SERP improvements. Our team, for example, will provide you with conversion, traffic, and revenue-related KPIs that will be directly tied to the implemented SEO framework.

What Tools Do You Use?

Now, every SEO company will have a slightly different approach when it comes to the internal SEO tools implemented for the SEO outsourcing process. But, if the company you are collaborating with doesn’t consider using Ahrefs, SEMrush, or at least GSC as core tools for their operations, maybe that’s the sign you need to look for someone else.

How Do You Communicate?

You are paying for a service, and thus you are allowed to ask about how this service will impact your digital performance. Outsourcing SEO only works if the firm you’re collaborating with is open to answering your questions and providing regular reports of the implemented SEO outsourcing strategy.

What Services Do You Provide?

Not all SEO agencies operate the same. Some companies, for example, might specialize in the creation of E-E-A-T-optimized content, while others might only provide link-building services or backend optimization. This can be fine, but it’s important to be disclosed beforehand. Our company, for example, provided enterprise-level, fully-managed SEO services that can act as a framework for scalable growth. But not all SEO agencies work the same way as we do.

How To Get Started in Outsourcing SEO?

Define Your Business Goals

Outsourcing SEO is not really that straightforward as it would seem at first glance. Yes, the gist of it is that you leave the bulk of your digital marketing operations in the hands of a specialist who can provide you with fully managed SEO services. But before outsourcing anything, you will need to define the metrics that you want to improve and determine what you hope to achieve by outsourcing your venture’s marketing operation to a third party.

SEO agency meeting

Do you want more traffic? Are you looking for increased CTRs? More leads? More visibility for certain, long-tail keywords? There are no SEO services that can increase your KPIs across the digital spectrum, so you need to identify your core objectives and the business actions you want organic traffic to generate.

Audit the Internal Operational Framework

Now this is where our SEO services can truly shine. When you decide to try the outsourcing SEO operations provided by our agency, we will start our deployment framework with a complete audit of your website. Our team will look at your website structure, existing content, keyword deployment and traffic trends in order to develop a complete outsourcing SEO strategy that will make use of complex KPIs.

Decide What to Outsource

Before you contemplate outsourcing SEO, you need to decide which services you continue handling in-house and which ones you are leaving in our hands. For example, do you already have a competent content writer in-house, who has previously crafted E-A-A-T-optimized articles that boosted your site’s authority?

In that case, maybe it makes sense to leave your site’s backend optimization strategy in the hands of our agency and continue to utilize the specialization of your content writer for the development of algorithm-optimized articles. It’s good to be flexible in your approach and choose an agency that molds to the specifics of your company. Speaking of:

Choose the Right Partner

Sometimes even the best SEO agencies on the market can be a wrong fit for the specifics of your organization. When you contemplate outsourcing SEO, you need to look for a provider of SEO services that has experience in working with organizations in the same niche as you, and that is transparent with the provided services and the outcomes of the framework that needs to be implemented on your pages.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Choosing an SEO Collaborator Based on Price Alone

The best search engine optimization services available in your local area will not necessarily be the cheapest. But in the end, do you want to save on your existing financial resources or do you want to see tangible results that will increase the ROI of your services in the future? You shouldn’t go for the cheapest option on the market. You should go for an agency that perfectly fits your specific requirements.

Outsourcing Without a Clear SEO Strategy

Many organizations decide to try outsourcing SEO without actually having a clear strategy in mind. And that’s a mistake, as in order to gain the SERP results you are hoping for, you need to have some specific goals before collaborating with an external SEO partner.

Ignoring Communication and Reporting

Are you collaborating with an SEO firm that’s blunt when it comes to KPIs, is slow to present you with performance reports, and doesn’t communicate properly with your internal departments? Then maybe you should work with someone else. In the end, outsourcing, of any kind, is a partnership, and in any partnership, communication is the key to long-term success.

Focusing On Rankings Alone

Traffic gains and SERP improvements lie at the heart of SEO strategies. But they are not the only things that matter. Some keywords might increase your traffic, but realistically, who cares about that if they don’t also increase the number of conversions? Likewise, you might gain external traffic from link-building collaborations. But what’s the point if your new visitors are unwilling to purchase your products and services?

Treating SEO As a One-Time Project

While SEO is the best marketing approach on the market for long-term SERP increases, it is not infallible to algorithm modifications or to changes in consumer preferences. SEO must be treated as a continuous operation that will occasionally need modifications in order to result in predictable visibility increases.
