Not all Google updates are confirmed. Sometimes, Google would even implement an update that has some not-intended consequences. In general, the minor updates do not cause any fluctuation in SERPs like a core update, but some massive changes happen unexpectedly once in a while.
All the top tools used to measure the SERPs situation detected massive fluctuations during the last days of June. This is the primary method used to detect unconfirmed updates. The changes were incredible, and it is impossible to ignore this search ranking update.
Many webmasters complained about these fluctuations because they didn’t look natural. Your website may have been affected as well. Luckily, the situation calmed down after a few days, and everything proceeded on the ordinary course again.
There could be some repercussions for some websites. Sometimes, these Google algorithm updates detect black or grey hat methods and penalize the sites. However, if you follow the guidelines, you won’t need to worry about this type of problem.
The chaos generated by the June update is an essential lesson for all web admins. It would be best if you never let anyone take care of your website’s SEO needs without you approving all the work they do. You do not want to be penalized for using black or grey hat methods. You must also keep in mind that SEO depends entirely on search engines. So, it would be best to consider diversifying your online marketing strategy. It’s ideal to start with SEO until your plan matures, but afterward, you can introduce other marketing methods, such as SMM.Another thing you can learn from these updates is the importance of keeping yourself in the know about the changes in the industry. You need to know when Google introduces a new core update or guidelines. It will help you understand the future trend. You can then prepare yourself for that.
First, you should look for a reliable SEO partner. If you work with a reliable SEO agency like GAMIT, you won’t need to worry about any updates in the future. You can check all the work for yourself. You will get regular reports with the results produced by the agency’s services.
Secondly, as the trend goes, your SEO strategy must be personalized for the needs and requirements of your business. You can’t use the standard SEO methods you can find online anymore. It would be best if you customized them. Otherwise, you won’t be able to compete.
Thirdly, if the current update causes you problems, you must look for a thorough SEO audit. This service will check the SEO state of your site and detect any issues that may cause you losses in the future. It’s also the best method to start any new SEO collaboration because it will help your SEO partner create a personalized strategy based on the information gathered in the analysis process.
